Not to underestimate russia and its fighting capabilities (it’s the worst thing one can do). But this and also increased pleading for “peace talks” from all of the putin’s allies and lapdogs, seem to indicate that while we have our problems, russia seems to be nearing even more severe problems.
I believe he is now betting on Trump win and that trump will side with him (which is not 100%, cause it seems even Trump does not know what he will do). Past USA elections, there does not seem to be the plan for war itself. Don’t get me wrong, as long as russia exists it will try to undermine NATO and EU, even after the war, that is why we must stay vigilant.
If it hits it hits. If it kill something then even better.
Learn, adapt, improve. Never understimate your enemy.
If you [look](https://www.reddit.com/r/RussianLosses/s/haezOvmTRc) at the daily losses of Russia, I just can’t believe they’re able to replace those losses. 1200 man, 50 artillery, 10 tanks, on average **each day**. Do it times 30 for a full month to have a better idea of how much this actually is, it’s mindblowing. Even if the figures are a little exaggerated by Ukraine, it’s still high.
I know they had a lot in storage from the Sovjet era, and I know they increased production, refurbish a lot, and move more and more to a war economy. But what are their productions numbers now? How long are they able to keep up with this high amount of losses?
Isnt this already done by Syrian rebels and in Donbas war skirmishes?
Seems kinda dumb since the bmp1s HE round is notoriously not very good against infantry or against positions.
I wonder if even r/shittytechnicals would accept this.
And yet… news has it that putin war machine is ramped up and producing huge amounts of war machines…
So which is it?
Look at that “cannon” lol
To pre-empt the nu-oh, yes Russia still has plenty of men, shells, jets, missiles and whatnot to keep waging the war. But it’s also an undeniably fact they used up most of their post-90s vehicles and artillery and have been tapping increasingly worse condition Soviet-era stocks to keep this insane war going, and those have a finite count which, while they do build some new armoured vehicles, it’s simply not enough to maintain offensive operations, not with proper armoured support and artillery cover.
Is this like when the Germans would take the tank turrets and turn them into bunkers ?
Trying to live up to the Ork nickname?
