  3. He was genuinely one of the best midfielders (top 10) in the premier league last season from everything I’ve heard between Villa fans and my friends that watch more PL than I do. He recently missed his penalty in the Copa so has been catching some flak but I’m not too worried as one penalty doesn’t change a player

    He’s a midfielder that wants to play the ball and has a great eye for a pass from what I’ve seen while also not being a slouch defensively, supposedly can’t play as a lone pivot but has been successful in a double pivot and an 8 in a midfield 3. I’ve watched a couple videos and full game comps on him since he signed and he seems like a quality player in an area of the field we have been lacking for years

    Fans have been complaining our midfield has been ass for years and I think he will help a ton with our control on games
