Vastly underrated in my opinion. They were formed after singer Lee Dorian left Napalm Death, and he found himself three bandmates to create something totally different – elements of stoner/doom metal, but with lovely swinging grooves.

They recorded ten albums together, many of which had distinctive and striking cover artwork in a fantasy cartoon style. They’re all superb, and any of the first six albums (recoded for the Earache label) would be a great place to start. My personal favourites are The Carnival Bizarre and Caravan Beyond Redemption, but they’re all superb.

Enjoy. 👍 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
