Cardiff and Bristol are both affluent, dynamic cities with a young population and a large student presence.
However, go outside of both cities and the affluent ripple effect lasts only a paltry 10 miles from Cardiff. Either Newport in the east or Pontypridd in the north , house prices and social conditions and standards of living fall off a cliff.
Bristol does not suffer the same dynamics. In fact go east 10 miles and it gets even more affluent and expensive…….. Bath

What is the point of gulls? Do they offer any benefits or do they exist solely to make noise and rip bins apart?
