  1. By Marni Rose McFall – Live News Reporter:

The U.K.’s new prime minister said that Ukraine can use Britain’s Storm Shadow missiles to strike military targets inside Russia, according to a report from Bloomberg.

Keir Starmer, whose Labour Party won the country’s general election on July 4, confirmed late Tuesday that he will continue using the U.K.’s previous policy on the use of the country’s long-rage weapons in the Russia-Ukraine war.

  2. But this is a red line! …..until it’s not any longer. If I were less civilized (meaning “more RuSSian”), I would even ask for attacking civilian targets, just to show RuSSia how this feels. But I am not.

  3. The UK has a job. That job is stepping over “red lines” so that others can then do so. And then sitting down with a glass and thinking happy thoughts about impaling Putin on the 111 metre spire of Salisbury catherdral.

  4. Not the best weapon to hit airfields but I am sure they have something they want to go boom

  5. Well then, start taking out airbases! And factories!

  6. Yes UK! Finally a step forward. No doupt Russia will have something to say about it. But crazy to think soon we will see British weapons striking Russian soil.

  7. I love this, but for some reason I thought Britain had already approved this months ago

  8. Did Putler know he was starting a proxy war with NATO? Doesn’t seem like it.

  9. Just the anticipated ruzki response makes me proud to be British.

  10. This was allowed since we gave storm shadows to Ukraine. Why is this even news? It’s just an affirmation of the same policy

  11. I heard that Russia said it has found an unexploded ‘Storm Shadow’ cruise missile, (not sure if true) and that they were going to examine it.

While there might be a very small chance of such munitions failing to explode on impact.

I don’t see why when such a missile is fired, that a backup timer is not also triggered, that would set off the munitions if the clock ever ran down – which should only happen if the missile failed to explode on impact.
It should not just sit there – it should go off after some reasonable delay.

  12. So, to summarize: every many russian deaths, the West gives a new weapon; every many Ukrainian deaths, the west give a new authorization.

    Sad

    Putin

It’s Britain’s historic job to stand up to people like this. We kinda lost our bottle lately. Let’s hope its back now.
