I’m not going to trust a police officer’s words without further evidence to back up their claims. This is the same protest where the police claimed that two officers suffered broken arms which made national headlines. A few days later they retracted the claim which for some reason didn’t receive anywhere near as much media attention.
That would be the protest where the police lied about the injuries they’d received to try and paint the protestors in the worst possible light?
