Because professors are 600% more effective, just like CEO’s. /s
The plan was to saddle younger generations with a mortgage without giving them a house. That way they are more compliant and vote democrat in the hopes of having their debts wiped away.
Inflated administrative staff, overpaid athletics and coaches, federalized student loans, expanding infrastructure
Get rid of the sports departments and coaches, they contribute nothing academically to the school. College is for learning, if you want to play sports, go to the minor leagues.
Make these fancy gyms and rec centers an optional fee.
Obama nationalized the student loan industry. Zero risk of default to the seller. They can charge whatever they want, and the gummint guarantees payment.
Biden followed through with zero risk to the borrower.
Borrow as much as you want. The debt is transferred to the gummint.
Gotta be a way to blame Trump for this crap.
And this is why I don’t support student loan forgiveness. If you want not-for-profit cheap education that raises the potential economic output and welfare for society, that’s fine.
But if you forgive student loans without doing anything to adjust the system, then you not only don’t fix it, *you make it worse*. This is because it signals to institutions of higher learning that they can raise prices and charge whatever they want, and the government will foot the bill. It’s a perverse incentive that encourages them to raise prices more, not less.
I don’t think its fair that these kids be saddled with 6-figure debt when leaving school, nor do I think it’s fair for other people to subsidize their education, particularly when its basically a blank check (many of whom do not have college educations themselves).
