Next time you’re commenting to someone “oh why didn’t you just warn that stranger instead of ranting on reddit” think twice.

The bus seats are already caked in god knows what, I don’t think someone’s shoes are making them any worse honestly, weird hill to (nearly) die on.
This should be posted on every London thread where some keyboard Batman says “Well, I’ll tell them to move their feet / intervene with [anti social behaviour]”
If it’s a crime, call the BTP. If not, go on with your day while gnashing your teeth.

If we’re not going to have conductors, victims of violent crime on TfL should get compensation from TfL and a year of free travel.
I hate to say it but it’s because people don’t say anything this behaviour has become endemic in our culture.
Culture is what we allow to happen. And poor behaviour escalates. We should be holding each other to higher standards.
That man did not deserved to be stabbed doing the right thing.
Fucking thugs should not be allowed to run our streets.
Time to deport this Anglo Saxon partly back to France, and the rest of him to Germany. /s
I was ona night bus a few weeks back, maybe 1:30am, guy gets on and sparks up. I tap him on the shoulder and say “excuse me, you can’t smoke here” he ignores me, so I try “come on, man. Don’t be a dick about it” guy stands up and gets off the bus, pausing only to say “your life must be so good!”
Very weird thing to say, and even weirder to leave the bus altogether, but most people aren’t going to stab you over stuff like this.
How can this guy just be walking around with a knife it’s a fucking joke, absolute scum.
They should add police for a two year period and stop and search everyone constantly until all knife carriers are in jail or knife culture leaves our country
Not only that, but the article has three other stories about strangers being stabbed from the last 2 days at the bottom
When I’m in London I won’t ever intervene. The place is gone. They don’t care about you, your intervention achieves nothing, you risk your life with all the vibrant characters out there, and you might temporarily be famous in the news. It’s not a community I have any stake in or connection to. Its not worth the hassle or the risk. Multiply me by a couple of million, sprinkle some tourists and immigrants in there, and you’ve probably got a majority of people who won’t get involved in what they see as someone else’s shit
I guess this is why my partner’s always on at me to not confront people about their shit behaviour. But if not me, then who?
