  1. I can say that I’ll use the heater way more than the air conditioning. I live near the 32nd parallel.

  2. I don’t know if I’m just getting more sensitive to heat. But even 2 years ago the 90 degree humid days were uncomfortable, but fine. Now it feels ungodly hot. For years I was an advocate of trying to move to a sunnier/warmer place for a bit, and I feel like the tide is turning to go north. Damn

  3. I went from not using it for the first five years to one to two days a year and now it’s up to a month now.

  4. I’m in Florida and my ac rarely shuts off. 110 with the humidity. I’m on medication that is incompatible with the heat

  5. Oh, look at you with your ❄ air-conditioning ❄. First World problem.

  6. A month, maybe 2. I am sleeping outside now. It’s too hot in my house.

  7. I’m in eastern Washington. It’s 108 just like yesterday and it’s been over 100 every day for the last week. Looks like it might dip into the high 90s starting Tuesday next week. This is abnormal even for the desert here. My AC in my apartment runs nonstop during the day and it’s still about 77 degrees inside which is tolerable I suppose. I’m lucky that it gets into the low to mid-60s outside during the night which makes it easier to sleep.

  8. Too many, and I stretch the days without air, Dallas. I didn’t grow up with it (Denver), and my sister still doesn’t have it (Denver). This is why I want to retire in a non AC location…sigh. Looking at calendar, it’s usually on daily from mid-May to mid to late September, with first sign of crisp air getting windows open. 120?
