Hi, everyone. So my dream university has called me to an interview for the nursing program I applied for. I'm so nervous about how it will go and what it will be like. I've read the list of subjects they could question me about. And I've been studying and preparing for the interview for a few days. I'm so nervous about messing it up and being rejected. My grades are good and from what I calculated gave me several points. But I'm still worried I'll mess the interview up and get rejected. Does anyone have any experience with university interviews? Do they count that much? Has anyone done poorly in the interview but had good grades and still been accepted? I'm just so stressed and scared over this interview and need some advice. 🥲

  1. Just here to congratulate and wish you all the best for your interview

I hope you come out with flying colors

  2. Afaik its just to see you are not an active psycho or a ruskie agent. Don’t worry too much, and for ‘why you want to be a nurse’ dont say ‘money’. Cause they may laugh so hard they gonna fall of the chair. Albeit its not that bad anymore.

  3. Chill, it will be fine. University interviews are more of a formality to determine whether you have any idea about the subject and are not a complete psycho. I am studying dentistry at this exact university, although I study in Polish, so my recruitment was different and did not include an interview, but from my experience the university administration is friendly and does not want to cause any problems. Besides, there is a need for a lot of nurses in Poland, so you will certainly have no problem finding a job after graduation. Also, I know from my nursing colleagues that after the second year you can earn extra money and experience working at UCK (the hospital at our university), so it’s also a nice option. Anyway, don’t stress, read the materials in the links, be smiling and confident and everything will be great.
