The White House has now confirmed that the delivery of the first tranche of Dutch and Danish F-16AM/BMs to Ukraine is now underway. These airframes will be physically transferred and become operational likely sometime in the next 2-6 weeks.

11. I have not received a single good explanation why Ukraine cannot simply fly them in. They are allowed to use their airspace and to fly in and out of other countries airspace FFS

    I hear about avoiding escalation with ruzzia – but this is not a good explanation

12. Why is this being telegraphed? There are somethings those of us that want Ukraine to win are ok finding out about only after Ukraine surprises Russia with.

13. I thought fixing up the F-16s was part of the delay….now they are saying 6 to 12 weeks before they can be flown by Ukraine? Makes no sense.
