What to do with all these “interpol” calls? It’s very annoying.

  1. Stop posting phone numbers. There’s no f****** point. They are spoofing other people number (meaning you can’t see the actual number that’s calling you)

You certainly wouldn’t appreciate if someone else posted your number here. So don’t do it to other people

  2. I kept having the same throughout the day and I believe mine was also spoofed since I got plenty of other calls from random numbers asking who was speaking lol

  3. Im getting only 621 numbers and my number starts 621. Then they’re all 722, 726, 727 in the second lot of digits in the number. Doesn’t seem like random numbers. Like above in OP. Those are 691 them the next 3 are close. Is this not a range of VOIP numbers they have rented. How do we know it’s spoofed? Indeed I rang one back and spoke to someone who hadn’t called me ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sweat_smile)

  4. Got called six times today.
Who’s calling you in English from a Tango/Lux number?!
    So lame. Waste of time.

  5. Don’t reply to any number you don’t know. Put your phone on silent and block even the callers. You phone /operator have option to block spam calls. If a governmental institution needs to reach you out they do it either per email or post or even recommend letter or now most likely guichet.lu. In case governmental institution is calling you and they cannot reach out to you, they write you an email that they called. And in case is someone you know – they should know better to send you sms confirming its them. Don’t even bother to answer if you don’t know the number.

  6. Adding to the comment by u/352matt, if you pick up the phone and say nothing and they hang up IMMEDIATELY you kind of know their game.

Also: Tango seems to have put into place a ringback interruptor/checker, which is cool. Try to ring back and it tells you the number is unknown.

  7. Please stop posting innocent people’s numbers. In all likelyhood they are even identifiable via Payconiq. (I don’t know how that can be legal given the GDPR.)

  8. I repeat, please do not post numbers. You are doxing real innocent people. These numbers are spoofed. The call does not come from that number, they just display it to you, so that you think it is someone else. both the stolen number and you are victims, don’t show these numbers. You just revealed sensitive data of 4 innocent people/victims.
