  10. I don’t support Kamala becoming the nominee but I encourage all to watch the video of her speech because she is comfortable and she is confident, she is genuine, she is having fun- its just a beautiful beautiful thing.

  12. I am no Kamala fanatic, but she is actual able to verbalize an attack against Trump. It’s refreshing to see. People can mobilize behind her.

    They are already claiming that democrats are cheating and will win, but it will be because they cheated.

  16. So refreshing. I turned against her in the 2020 primaries, but there is no doubt she’s compelling. I could hop on the Kamala train. I’d prefer a mini primary, but if we don’t get one I’ll still donate to and work for Kamala.

    Trump and his people will counter and try to smear her but if she attacks first and early and keeps the narrative going through the election that’s what is needed.

  19. There’s a part of me that is wondering if Biden knows he’s going to step down, but doesn’t want to so it gives Trump less time to attack Kamala. If they announce her after the Republican Convention, all their ire will be directed at Biden rather than her.

    Strategically, it makes a hell of a lot of sense, while also damn risky. I don’t think the Dems are smart enough to do it though, this is just a cluster fuck of our own making.

If a President were to actually declare formally that they were suspending the Constitution then wouldn’t it be the **duty** of people around them who swore an oath to protect the constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic to immediately remove said President from power by any means necessary?  At that point impeachment is not fast enough to be effective.

    I wonder if the “plan” (or at least strategy) here is to let the uncertainty continue right through next week’s Republican convention.

    This way, the RNC will have no clear target and will have to settle for loudly beating the “old man bad” drum while also trying to sell a diluted message that would generically apply to any Democratic nominee.

    Then, when the switch happens, the Republicans will have had their time in the spotlight and **all** eyes will move to the DNC.

    Announcing a candidate swap *after* the RNC just seems to make the most sense.

  27. Biden and the powerful democrats in Washington sabotaged Kamala’s career.  Biting them in the butt now.

    I wanted her to be the nominee, even went to her rally in Oakland.  But they really screwed her over.

    Feel the power now, Kamala, and tell them to eat it and go be governor of California where they love you.

    Let Newsom go screw up.  We all know all he has ever wanted was to be president, even when he was mayor of SF.  He’ll let them use him as a puppet.

  28. You don’t “joke” that you are going to be a dictator, suspend the constitution, arrest opposition, put millions in concentration camps, shutdown newspapers you don’t like, open concentration camps, round up homeless, etc.

    Trump is fucking fascist, & he absolutely will try to overthrow democracy (again). He’s telling us loud and clear.
