  1. To this day, many of the people responsible for this and other war crimes are free and are celebrated as heros in a certain country.

  2. I really wish that “never again” put on war and death camp memorials wasn’t just an empty slogan.

  3. Serbia after starting a war with every other ethnic group in the Balkans:

“Am I wrong? No, it’s everyone else that’s wrong 😡”

  4. Looks like serbians learned nothing about this event and looks like they are ready to do this again. So sad that this society can’t understand that violence is not a solution

  5. Condolence to all victims, may they rest in peace.

sad to see Albanians here on a hate train once again, instead of to remember and commemorate the victims.

  6. The world is in turmoil and not as peaceful as we thought. Everytime I known there is a war happening do really remind me that EU is ever the greatest peace & politics achievement in mankind history.

United in diversity, long live the civilization

  7. And then there are lunatics who deny it ever happened. Here in Germany, it is illegal to deny the Holocaust publicly. There are some high-profile cases where, like 90 year Olds getting prison sentences for repeated offenses.

It is important to take responsibility.

  8. It is worth mentioning that apart from being a ethnicity-based genocide, it was also a sex-based genocide since all the victims were men or boys. These people were specifically targeted for being male. It is particularly important in the current climate of the false narrative of “women are the main victims of wars”.

  9. Serbia has to take responsibility for its role in this carnage. We Dutch will otherwise always block EU-accession for them.

  10. Thank you all for your support. As a bosnian, seeing what’s happening (and happened) in Ukraine since the war started always makes me remember my parent’s stories of what they went through in the early 90s.

May we all prevail against fascist dictators and the sick people supporting them.

  11. Dumb fucks unable to show any respect to victims of genocide by pushing their own shit, this day the victims of Srebrenica are to be remembered and a horrible event to be recognized, when your date comes, you’re free to talk.

  12. I remember watching this unfold on the news. I also remember watching how the UN just stood back and let it happen.

“The fall of the town of Srebrenica and its environs to Bosnian Serb forces in early July 1995 made a mockery of the international community’s professed commitment to safeguard regions it declared to be “safe areas” and placed under United Nations protection in 1993. United Nations peacekeeping officials were unwilling to heed requests for support from their own forces stationed within the enclave, thus allowing Bosnian Serb forces to easily overrun it and—without interference from U.N. soldiers—to carry out systematic, mass executions of hundreds, possibly thousands, of civilian men and boys and to terrorize, rape, beat, execute, rob and otherwise abuse civilians being deported from the area.”

The UN has a lot to answer for yet seems to be a law onto themselves then and more recently.
