Alec Baldwin broke basic gun safety rules that is the case that prosecutors are making in the actor’s manslaughter trial after the death of cinematographer Helena Hutchins back in 2021 day two of this trial began with opening statements first by prosecutor erinda okomo Johnson she painted the picture of a big movie star who behaved in a reckless manner she told jurors that Baldwin had requested he get the biggest gun available that he paid no attention during the mandatory gun safety sessions and that he repeatedly cocked and pointed Firearms at other people while he was on set although Baldwin claimed he never pulled the trigger FBI testing found that it was impossible for the revolver to be fired without doing so Alex Spiro who is Alec Baldwin’s celebrity lawyer defended him saying the actor had no reason to believe the gun was loaded he also told jurors that it was not Baldwin’s responsibility to check for the weapons contents instead Spyro tried to cast blame on the movies safety officials including armor Hannah Gutierrez saying a live bullet should never have been brought on set Gutierrez was convicted by the same court earlier this year and is now serving an 18-month sentence right now it is not known if Baldwin will take the stand himself during the trial if found guilty he also faces up to 18 months in prison finally

He deserves to be in jail.
It is not him who loaded the gun with sharp ammunition .Somebody has but who is that somebody? He has the responsibility of course but how many have checked their guns be for shooting in a film ?
