New York bridge gets stuck open on hottest day of year
it was so hot in New York yesterday that a bridge was stuck open it was the hottest day of the year so far in the United States and the steel on the bridge linking the Bronx with Manhattan swelled up stopping it from closing it did reopen but only once it had been sprayed down with water to keep it cool

may be it wasnt greased for the past 50 years and this is why it got stuck?? moving parts and parts that exposed to friction need to be greased!
This is why we have tolerances in engineering, this should still function in freezing and blazing hot temperatures if they designed it correctly

Stop with the fake drama. The bridge issue may have been heat related. But I’m willing to bet a serious lack of proper maintenance was more of an issue.
