no such thing as a “European way of life” lmfao
Glory to France.
„European way of life” sounds like something a clueless American would say.
And the end of a stupid idea of royalty.
Greetings from a Dutch republican
And also the Reign of Terror, almost a French civil war, and the Napoleonic Wars
“European way of life” is kind of corny, but what is true is that the French revolution set off a chain of events that destroyed the remenets of feudalism all over Europe. French republicanism spread throughout the continent and is probably why most European countries are no longer monarchies. Nationalist, liberals and socialist of the 19th century were all inspired by this one event. At the end of the day France is one ofvthe most important countries in Europe and their politics culture philosophy has certainly had an outsized influence on the rest of the European nations and the nations of the world. Long live the Fifth Republic!!!
Ah yes, the day revolutionaries emptied the prisons to reign terror on the populace and their political enemies… truly one of Frances low points.
One of the greatest hypocrisies in history – “equality” is non existent, “freedom” is to choose wether to live by social aids or work your ass off to maintain pretty much the same broke-ass standard, while your “brothers” are only pulling you back 😆 what a joke
Ironically everyone resisted that “european way of life” for decades. Even forming coalitions to bring down the French Republic in it’s infancy.
Celebrates “colonialisme”.
