If anyone’s in Romania, it looks like a good place to cool off is around the foot of the Carpathians near Piatra Neamţ at a chilly 22ºC.
I remember as a kid if one day during summer the temperature was over 30C, it was considered a big deal, extremely hot day.
Now all summer the temperature is 35-40C.
It is only gonna get worse in our lifetime
In Belgium, we’ve had NO, I repeat, NO 3 consecutive days of good weather this year. This is beyond fucked. Bad weather doesn’t usually get to me that hard but this is hellish.
The fact the summers are more rainy in North-West Europe is that the ocean temperatures have risen so much that more water vaporises into the air, forming rain clouds bringing in massive torrents of rain.
The Balkans are cooking for real, when you breath it’s like you’re breathing steam from the oven

I’m from the south of Mexico and I moved to Europe because I hate hot weather. Budapest in summer feels the same as exactly back home. At least there are 4 seasons here but the hot summers caught me by surprise.
I’m sure that sneaky glowing thing in the sky has come closer in the last week. Bucharest is having Dubai temperatures, but with less skyscrapers and more Dacia Logan.

Looks like Spain weather moved to the Balkans. Today my phone told me it’s overheating and will shut down while I was driving, never knew it had this feature.
Can we not add Hellfire Heat to our mix of War and Poverty , pls .
Let me share some stats from the continent of Asia, specifically Pakistan.
The temperature here this summer has regularly been above 40 degrees. Touching 45 most days and 47-50 degrees in some cities. Coupled with high humidity, most people not being able to afford AC due to electric prices higher than america. There has been a severe weather alert since the start of June.
NOT TO MENTION… that there’s water shortages. Meaning you can’t even take a shower to escape the heat.
Were so fucked y’all don’t even realize. And I swear to the lord some people still dare deny climate change right to your face.

We used to have three main seasons in England: cold rain, mild rain, and warm rain.
In the past two years we seem to have lost a season. We now have: mild rain with strong wind, and mild rain with a gentle breeze.

Summer is just non existent in the uk and Ireland, it’s so fucking miserable. ITS JULY?!!!!
Northern Bulgaria here: with water shortages in most villages, my garden is dying, can’t do a damn thing about it, too hot to sleep without Aircon, days are roasting in the high 30’s constantly, just days and days without a break. I’ve kept a weather journal for years – while we have had temps like this, it was always just for a day or two then they would drop. Now it’s like 2-3 weeks in a row, one day of thunderstorm, then back up to 37+C again. Sucks.
My Dad said the sun rays were enjoyable back in the day, they did not have to put on sunscreen, today it is deadly.
