1. Why do people suck off the royals so much?

   Ascribing people power and status simply because of their family or who they’re married to seems very archaic.

2. No you have it wrong – Kate is very good at wearing clothes, and William has a nice shiny head. I think they should be more active in chivalric virtues, such as Arthurian poetry, kneeling, and dropping handkerchiefs. I hear Prince Andrew is dead set on doing Love Island, although his first, second, third and possibly fourth attempt at love island was seemingly controversial. Ahem.

   For the same reason her husband is attending the football in Germany this evening. He is President of the FA and England are in the final.

   And some of the ‘theories’ regarding her ‘disappearance’ were just insane. Saying she’d been abducted by aliens would have been more credible.

10. Loads of cynical twats in the comments. Her family was dragged through the mud, her husband accused of an affair in international media, the ‘other woman’ named, and children of both parties exposed to these salacious stories, based on zero evidence. These are flesh and blood people with real interior emotional lives as are the children. The whole time the truth was that this young mother was suffering from cancer. People feel some human sympathy for her, and clap. But monarchy bad.

20. I’m not anti royal as in I don’t care about them / hate them. But I struggle to understand why people worship them. Why are you applauding her ? What did she do for you ?
