The attached photo is from the PKP app during seat selection. Can anyone help me by explaining which side is by the window vs. which side is by the aisle?

  1. Window is where seats 15, 16, 25 are. Otherwise the toilet would not have a window. Still tricky and confusing graphic I have to admit.

  2. 15 – window
    13 – middle
11 – on entry to the compartment

  3. I’m almost certain it verifies the window seat on the next page after selection

  4. And don’t choose ~~toilet seat~~, I mean window seat, as you have a table right in front of you, limiting leg space.

  5. easy trick is to look at where the entrance to the bathroom is and assume thats the Aisle

  6. You can check for better schematic on vegonweb.cz or bocznica.eu. On the bottom should be a corridor, but something didn’t render or they broken it. Of you select seat and go to the next section there should be information what type it is. You can also try koleo which has much better graphics, but not always they give the best fare.

  7. I recommend the KOLEO app, it has a better interface where you can see the windows.

  8. Basically in intercity every seat which ends with the number : 1, 2, 5 or 6 are window seats, while 3, 4, 7 and 8 are without windows. So for example seat 31 has a window while seat but seat 33 does not. The last number counts

  9. Those gray ones (mostly taken) are the window seats

  10. Recently traveled by train, took a long time to choose a place. And then the train broke down after 10 minutes and everyone was transferred to another one. And there everyone sat down in any seat, regardless of the ticket

  11. The x5 and x6 seats are window seats. I see you’re viewing the compartment car. If you’re eager to get the window seat, but none are available, aisle will do the job
