
My great-grandmother used to sing this song to my grandfather when he was small. He’s now 97 and only remembers the end. The linked clip is him singing it to the best of his memory.
If it helps, my great-grandma was from Mielec and emigrated in 1922. Allegedly someone once told my grandpa that the melody was about 100 years old, and his mother would have learned it during World War I. It probably has many different lyric variations over the years.

It is “polish” but its not sang by polish man accent is soo different even tho its old voice
