My missus does this regularly in St Anne’s park, north Dublin. Sends her crazy at how bad it is.
She actually bought a litter picker especially for it and goes out 3 times a week. It’s pretty disgraceful how bad people can be.
On my way home. The rural wear. There is a spot that seems to be the exact distance it takes to eat a super macs from the town. Cause that’s where all the dipshits fling the bags out the window.
I keep a bag in the car and stop some mornings to pick it
It’s actually a joke. I collected 3 full bin bags of litter along my fairly rural road. It’s about 1km either direction of my house. Within 24 hours a rake of coffee cups dumped. Coffee cups & beer tins and beer bottle were the most common items for me.
Also there was a bag of clothes dumped, just inside a ditch. Reported it to the litter warden but she wouldn’t touch it as it was just inside the ditch ‘on private property’. 🤬
The sooner an incentive to recycle is brought in the better.
The mammy and I did the same where we live and filled 2 black sacks on the path side (the hedgerow side of full of litter but too dangerous to do by ourselves) and carrier like OP the other week – next day the pricks had thrown another bag out their car window that we picked the next day. We’re trying to keep a zero tolerance of rubbish to try prevent it building back up but I’m fed up of it – hoping the rest of the residents might pick up a piece or two in their walks back- makes my ticking blood boil.
Who the fuck takes a bag out of the bin in their gaff into the car to fuck out the window?? The mind boggles.
Could the government make it illegal for people not to be signed up to a legitimate refuse remover? Apologies for the rant!!

We’d cut the litter problem by like 80% if we had just had large municipal bins everywhere. Privatised waste collection has been proven to be a fucking disaster. It’s so simple in most european countries. There’s large public bins around every corner. That’s not to say that countries like Spain don’t have little problems, they do, but mostly that’s as a result of anti social elements or in places where there are few bins ie industrial estates. Most residential areas are quite clean.
Like so many things, a relatively simple fix would solve most of the issue, but ideology keeps us from doing anything about it.

I’m always disgusted when seeing scrotes casually dropping crisp packets etc on the ground like fucking sociopaths who only care about themselves.
But I’ve been wondering recently are Irish people in general bad when it comes to litter? Surely this is just a shitty thing that humans do in general?
