  6. As a lover of history, I know politicians of all political affiliations have always been liars. What I can’t understand is how him/Republicans lie in an era where the truth can be found within minutes. It’s not 1994 we can simply Google it or even better we can search a keyword on social media and see what people are saying. What happened to the elaborate political lies from the right during election season? When did they become so surface level and easily disproven?

  12. Everyone should know what Trump is talking about with his disgusting, despicable and evil lie about “after birth abortion”. He loves to talk about how the beautiful baby is born, and wrapped in a beautiful blanket, and then murdered. He revels in it, like a psycho.

    A lot of people don’t know what he is talking about, and think he’s just making it up – which admittedly is something he would totally do. But the truth is actually *worse* than that.

    After hearing this stupid lie for so many years by this asshole, I went down the rabbit hole to find the origins of it. And what I believe Trump is talking about is hospice care for terminally ill children. Children born with only a day or two to live, where doctors and mothers need to make tragic and impossible decisions about how, or if to treat the child and to what level. Life saving measures are often not possible because they will cause pain or more harm to the baby. Other times a mother simply has to hold her child as it dies in her arms.

    This is what this c^%nt is talking about. This is what he is politicizing. He’s politicizing hospice care for terminally ill babies. There’s no fucking “after birth abortion”.

  34. This all started with a “proposed” bill in California. As the writers of the bill were going over it with the lawyers etc, it was noted that because of some ambiguous wording, a certain paragraph would mean that abortion would even be legal after birth if the mother’s life was in danger. Which of course made no sense and was corrected before the bill was introduced to the Senate.

    Republican radio hosts ran with it as “look, in California they want to abort babies even after birth!!!”

  35. The “Democrats support infanticide” lie has been around for literal decades. There used to be chain emails about liberal doctors stabbing newborns in the neck with scalpels if the parents decided they didn’t want a baby after all, an obviously ridiculous thing that never happened.

  36. There are zero restrictions on Abortion in Colorado. There is nothing from preventing a woman from having an abortion on her due date.

    And if you were looking for someone to blame for the abomination, that is Trump and his entire family. Look no further than Mark Burnett, the founding father of reality tv as we know it today. Creator of both Survivor and The Apprentice. He’s the only reason why Trump is even remotely viewed as successful in today’s world.

    That being said, if he is reelected, America gets what it deserves!

  38. Yeah, I mean that’s how propaganda always works. It doesn’t hold up to scrutiny, but if you blast enough of it to enough people over enough time, it always works on some call them stupid ignorant whatever you want. It doesn’t change the fact that propaganda is effective for a percentage of the population.

    We have to end propaganda and opinion based reporting masquerading as informational news.
