  5. In 1994 a Jewish community centre in Buenos Aires, Argentina was bombed. 85 people were killed and over 300 injured. Hezbollah and Iran were identified as the likely culprits. Because her government favoured closer ties with Iran, the former Peronist president Cristina Fernández de Kirchner interfered with the long-running investigation into the bombing. In 2015, the federal prosecutor Alberto Nisman was found dead in suspicious circumstances a day before he had been due to present evidence implicating Iran and Fernández de Kirchner.

    This is what friendly relations with Iran looks like. Argentinians should be glad their current president wants to end this.
