5. One of the few times I have wanted to cry on a bike trip was cycling from Delft to Bruges in mid October. No matter which way the road turned, I was always in a headwind. Brutal and soul crushing.

   My soul was crushed when I cycled through Netherlands. And like a proper idiot my route was from east to west, north to south. Had my fair share and extra of headwinds.

   Never again.

13. Ultimate leg day.

14. I cycled LEJoG last year and we hit some really big headwinds. We were having peddle hard downhill or we wouldn’t move. No freewheeling that day.
