4. I doubt Poland shooting down missiles over Ukraine will start a war. Poland will claim self-defense since Russian missiles hit and exploded on its territory.

5. I mean it’s pretty obvious Poland won’t do it, at least alone. Just someone has to start the discussion.

7. This is being considered for a long time now. And since Trump is now pretty much on his way to becoming the next president and changing the policy regarding Ukraine drasticly, I am pretty sure this will keep being on the consideration stage for the foreseeable future.

9. Since a part of western Ukraine was Poland until 1945, in a sense Poland would be protecting its own citizens.

10. Does Ukrainian media enjoy beating the dead horse? Neither Polish government promised to do it, nor NATO gave Poland a greenlight to do it. So why for the last couple days we see them printing article after article as if the matter was already decided.

13. Long overdue. An attack on Ukraine is an attack on Europe. Go all in, as far as I’m concerned.

14. You know. He can’t outright say that this is part of the F-16 deal and in reality it is about protecting airfields in western Ukraine where those jets will be stationed.

    This would be direct involvement in the conflict but protecting polish airspace from “possibly malfunctioning” Russian missiles is not.
