  12. He donated to UNRWA, not Gaza, or Hamas. The issue is he overruled others to make the donation using public funds, while his family members were seeking escape from Gaza. It’s a clear conflict of interest, and it may even be a bribe.

    Israel has alleged that members of Hamas have infiltrated the UNRWA leadership, for which they have yet to offer convincing proof.

  15. Not only donated a quarter million to UNRWA, but did so presumably as a pay-for-play to get his in-laws out of there, and took those funds away from going to genuine relief agencies. So a nice little combination of supporting terrorists, corruption, and nepotism.

    Good fucking riddance to him. At least his tenure was brief.
