Thought you guys might find it interesting as there are a few Real standouts. Toni Kroos is way ahead in terms of progressive passes, but Tchouameni is not far behind and is above the median for carries as well. Modric is one of the best all round. Bellingham is excellent at carries and better than the median for progressive passes too.
I created a similar but mixed analysis plot (Prog carries p90 vs Forward pass %) on r/soccer yesterday and created a couple of other graphs looking at volume (Prog carries p90 vs Prog passes p90) and efficiency (Prog carry % v Prog pass %).
**Edit**: For those asking about Arda Guler, he is listed as an FW primarily so is unfortunately excluded.
However, he has a Progressive Pass p90 of 5.3 and Progressive Carry p90 of 2.4.
On the graph he’d be in the ‘Versatile Creator’ quadrant, roughly between Pedri and Laimer.

I think Güler should be classified as a midfielder too.

Bellingham being here speaks volumes, people(except Madrid fans although some of them do) disregard his midfielder abilities because he can score goals and doesn’t do flashy moves while dribbling.

“Side” passing Toni according to some people
I don’t think people really understand how good Tchouameni really is, insane defensively, fantastic and calm on the ball, superb versatility in passing and an awe inspiring physical stature. He’s for me easily the best 6 itw right now and he’ll only get better. Ofc we’ll miss Kroos but Tchouameni brings a lot to the team. In moments of crisis Toni is still involved with the club and I’m sure they’ll have some talks to help iron out the issues.
