Solar on every rooftop is a lot of local generation.
Need to get the price of batteries down too.
That is one oddly small array in the photo!

Ireland with 20kw of solar per capita would still have enough solar power to cover 1MWh per capita during December. Which is twice the current energy usage per person in the country. This would also assume there is zero wind, which, even though I have never been to Ireland I will figure that November-Februrary is a fairly windy time.
Since this place is so far north, the panels could not just be on the roof but on the southern sides of buildings.
100,000 systems, that sooooo cute….
