21. I’ll give Trump as much sympathy as he gave for Paul Pelosi when he was nearly murdered.

22. The act absolutely deserves universal condemnation, but why does Trump deserve our sympathy? His has been one of the biggest voices amplifying violent rhetoric over the last several years. So while I’m unhappy this happened and hope there’s no further violence, I don’t feel sorry for the man who helped get us to this point. I can only hope he learns a lesson from it. But it’s doubtful he will.
