Russia has killed 488 Ukrainian athletes, 20 Olympic and gold champions among them since the full-scale invasion began.
The demonstration was held by French Union of Ukrainians and World Ukrainian Congress.
The peaceful rally was attended by about a thousand people wearing T-shirts with the names of the victims, as well as several city deputies and representatives of the Administration of Paris.
In addition to showing solidarity, the participants of the rally also called for the removal of representatives of Russia and Belarus from the 2024 Olympic Games, even under a neutral flag.

Russian athletes, unless strongly and clearly opposed to Putin and his murderous war, are not welcome.
They should honor them and show their pictures at the opening ceremony
