That’s funny. I’m in Italy and I called my sister in Canada to talk about his victory…..and she was still watching the match! Some time delay here and fortunately for her I didn’t say who won.
Congrats Carlitos!
I have a feeling Spain is about to have a great major sports day.
Today’s Alcaraz was a beast, especially in the 1st and 2nd sets. Even Djokovic in his prime would have a hard time.
Who cares about this dying sport?
Hopefully he used up all of Spain’s winning for the day
Congratulations to both players. I cannot wait to see more Sinner-Alcaraz finals. Unfortunately time forgives nobody, not even Nole.
As a Dutchie who still remembers 2010 like the nightmare it was, and our national song being about winning a bloody 80-year war to gain freedom from Spain, I would’ve never thought I’d be cheering for Spain to win two major tournaments on one day because their opponent is *that* much unlikeable.
Alcaraz will be the next Federer! Great young player! It’s time for Djokovic to retire.
