You know the lyric “30 years of hurt” well the next tournament they’ll play in (if they qualify) will be 30 years since the song was recorded. That makes it 60 years of hurt. Fuck that makes me feel old.

Some Spanish boy in the pub today told me “Viva Espana” has fascist undertones in Spain. Something to do with a famous song from the fascist era. Obviously Spaniards in Ireland know we don’t know that, so it’s grand. Just thought I’d share the good word.
