National Rally’s Marine Le Pen: ‘Democracy has spoken’ • FRANCE 24 English

fellow citizens democracy has spoken and the French people have decided to put the r and its allies at the head of the vote and have basically wiped out the macron block first of all as the head of policy I am very happy that we have seen such a high participation rate which gives even more weight to the decision tonight the French people have clearly tonight showed that they wish to turn a new leaf on seven years of power that has looked down on them and has corroded institutions I would like to thank all of the voters and to note that this is the first step in a path that will bring Duty and honor my thoughts go particularly to the 11th circumscription of the P that has reelected me tonight as well that being said that being said nothing is decided and the second round will be important it will be important to make sure that the country does not fall into the hands of the newest Coalition and a coalition of farle anti-Semitic violent and anti-republican elements the most violent activists from NPA from lfi and from Community movements will put forward je mil as prime minister second round will be important because this is the opportunity to give to Jordan Bella an absolute majority in the French Parliament from next week onwards he will be able to work to repair France and to reestablish unity in a democracy it makes sense it is healthy that political parties rotate to guarantee these changes and to undertake the reforms that are required we need an absolute majority so that Jordan B in will be appointed prime minister by emu MC without a clear majority Jordan badela will find himself prey to inertia to politic and to all sorts of obstacles to the real change that the country needs that is why my fellow citizens I am calling on you to renew your decision expressed tonight if you chose a different party this evening I would like to call on you to join us on Sunday join the Coalition for safety for freedom and for Liberty by voting for candidates for the you will be part of a fraternal movement and give us energy to be one together in the coming days in the coming days beware of those who are profing fears and unjustified threats in their desire to prolong A system that has lived its life no French person no French person will lose any rights on contrary we will guarantee rights and as soon as the situation allows it we will create new rights for everyone my fellow citizens on the 30th of June 2024 hope is born a new and on the 7th of July make sure that the people win long the Republic their front

“The French people have decided to put the National rally and its allies at the head of the vote, and have basically wiped out the Macron bloc,” said National Rally president Marine Le Pen at party headquarters.

  1. is it too weird to want to see french culture when i go to France, italian when i go to Italy, egyptian when i go to Egypt and so on? why msut everywhere be arab culture? i just don't get it 😐

  2. Le pen cares about democracy as much as a wolf cares about a flock of sheep.
You want fascism in France…you're gonna get it.
Just don't say you were not warned

  3. ' Far right ' !! BS. Le Pen leads a patriotic right of centre political party similar to REFORM in Blighty. This ' far right ' BS is starting to grate with me. Well done the people and patriots of La France.

  4. Piecefool Abdool: saar… You people are against poor innocent minorities saar… Please allow us to breed and spread Qurana virus saar…

  5. Other parties trying to block National Rally by withdrawing candidates is election interfering. This should be illegal. All candidates on the first ballot should still be on the second ballot. The other parties are basically saying "We don't like the view of the majority of the French population, so we are going to try to change it". That is not democracy. That is election interference. Hopefully their actions will have the oppoosite effect. ie ; Encourage more people to vote for NR that would not have bothered to vote before.

  6. This can only be good for France as part of real democracy. What's the worst that can happen? sanctions and isolation.Does the West not deal and trade with China? so things will carry on with France.Macron has put the interests of the financial elite first too many times. Now is the time for change.

  7. I'm not even french but I hope this woman wins, the French need to take back Thier country, and preserve it, same for the rest of Europe !

  8. If you have dwindling numbers of citizens, and you don’t like working or immigrants, then you better get to like working harder, or liking poverty. Your choice.

  9. I don't know a thing about her, but how do you trust someone who says "democracy has spoken" then "we need a majority", and "no french person will lose any rights" then "as soon as the situation allows it, we will create new rights for everyone".

  10. Emma Lazurus…Your words fill me with hope that someday…the world will once again chase peace and charity…instead of todays strife and selfishness.

  11. Time for Macron to go…he's a disaster. I have admired Marine Le Pen for a long time. You can tell she really loves and cares for France, French culture and way of life. Macron on the other hand is a weasel and seems like he'd sell France for his own benefit.

  12. I want to feel bad about the European immigrants' problems, but remembering they were colonizers, even ruthless colonizers now I'd like to say: so how does it feel having strangers non stop coming into your homelands?😂😂😂
