OOOOOOOOOOOOHHH, branded memes, I’ll take a hundred.
From our point of view? Yes. From his and the rest of his property owning friends? No, not useless at all. In fact working very well!! Very well indeed!!!
Now, what the fuck are you going to do about it???
The State already intervenes considerably to keep property prices high. It’s your own taxes that are being spent to keep you from being able to afford somewhere to live.
I swear, /r/ireland’s understanding of the housing crisis isn’t much better than what you’d see on the comment section of a radio station’s Facebook page.
Our Tanaiste, Leo “one persons rent is another persons income” Varadkar, is presently a landlord renting out an apartment for not too far off ~€20k a year in Dublin.
That is the cunt who is scheduled to be Taoiseach shortly.
People need to be joining unions, both in work and tenants unions, and co-ordinating to organize a general strike + rent strike. Workers/tenants need to unionize in order to begin regaining political power.

Isn’t the fact that Sinn Fein have object to the majority of housing projects proposed also something we should be worried about?
Vulture fund buys house for cash. Prices couples out. Government guarantees rent for 20 years by placing social welfare recipients in it.
Government are using your own taxes to price you out of the market.
Only solution will be for the state and the SF hypocrites to get out the way and let the free market build and build and build. Yes – a couple lads are going to become billionaires but that’s a decent trade off on bettering the situation.
sinn gonna win
People still don’t seem to understand that their voting base are in the majority home owners who are happy to see their houses rise in value.
