If you are willing to ceed an election four months out, you just don’t have the fight needed to be a congressperson, though way too many congresspeople have gerrymandered seats with no real competition between the parties, so they never actually have to have any fight in them.

6. AOC decided to put herself front and center as a justification for peoples passivity and submission to the idea of four years of Trump. If this election is so trivial and immaterial that we are supposed to be ok going into November with the historically most unpopular president on record – somehow even less popular than Trump – then why the fuck should anyone spend time and money helping Dems win?
