Leroy Sané is now a candidate for sale. Sané's contract expires next year – and an extension now seems a long way off. The people in charge are aware that if they want to get a fee, they have to sell him this summer, otherwise he could leave the club for free next year. Sané's current market value is still €70m, so a departure is no longer out of the question. Also because new signing Michael Olise is the same type of player
Not all Bayern officials were happy about Sané's participation in the Euros and had even advised him against it given his physical condition
Whether Sané and Bayern will actually go their separate ways also depends on the market situation. If Sané is sold, Bayern could make a push for Nico Williams

  5. We had now a serious os coaches, who failed to make the squad good.
    Inwas on the side thinking it was not completely the coaches fault, not tuchel nor nagelsmann.
    So i am kinda fine to change something in the squad. Something big.
    So if it is financialöy a good deal, it could be a could idea.

    And in 12 months we will have a Topstar Coach

  10. I’d like him to stay. It would be worth it just to see if Kompany can get the best out of him like Tuchel did in last years Hindrunde. Because that Leroy Sane was the best player in the league. Maybe an old teammate can spark him. And hopefully not just spark him but keep his spark from fizzling out.

Listen, Sané had a really good first half of the season, he has the potential to be the most dangerous player ever, but I just don’t think he’s getting that level back, it’s a slow downhill from here so the best option would be to make a big buck and get a promising young and fresh winger, just my two cents

  16. While I dislike kompanys take on mdl and kim, his take on sané is good. Sané played all year with pain because we had no one else. Tries really hard to work on himself. Identifies with club and fans, players like this are hard to get

  19. Sane has the same Problem as upa – consistency. Both can be World class but if theyre in a bad Phase when comes down to cl semis then theyre not good enough for a team that want to win the treble.

    If upa and sane would be consitent at their top Level then we would be Favorites to win the cl.

  23. I think the question is valid. It’s not about this year – if healthy, you absolutely want him, he was insane w/Kane 1H last year, but do you actually want to extend him for 4 years beyond this year, beginning with his age 29 season?

    If we have Olise, sign Simons, maybe make a run at Wirtz or another younger name next Summer, it probably makes more sense to get value out of him now, arguably even more than selling de Ligt does. Now, if you could sell Gnabry and Coman, I might be tempted to wait and see this year, at the risk of him leaving on a free next Summer, but I think that’s unlikely (at least selling both).

    Sell Sané? Do it now, his value won’t increase.
    Keep Sané? Yes, but ONLY with a salary reduction. It’s been like 4 years and the salary has never been justified.
