That’s not a call for violence, that’s just stating historical facts that the most significant political changes in our nation’s history were not done at the ballot box. I’ll never, ever understand liberals insistence that we’re at the end of history and institutionalism will hold and provide us positive change, even when those institutions are crumbling to the degree that one of the branches of government just overruled the constitution itself with no check or balance to make POTUS king above the law. 39. To be fair, if Donald Trump had died there would definitely have been political change. For better or worse it’s hard to say; probably worse as he’d be seen as a martyr by the GOP and the public would’ve lost out on the chance for closure in the form of more criminal trials and convictions.
