  1. I get the good heart and all but like c’mon, it was an obvious outcome. If she still did it as a form of protest then that’s brave as hell but other than that these things should not be done by anyone smart.

  2. Anyone going against Putin’s way of running Russia run the risk of getting arrested. They need to be more careful and cover their activities from detection by FSB and other Russian goon squads out looking for “enemy” of Russia.

  5. That’s really smart of Russia, jailing their young women while they send their young men to die in Ukraine. Putin really wants nothing but the best for the country.

  6. So why would Serbia jail someone for a Russian crime? Is it temporary? Do they have treaties requiring it?

    Would she maybe be pardoned for it or released after a review? It seems daft to jail someone there for such a thing.

  9. The dude is very brave and vocal against RU government. Sadly, no gov is tolerant to people that are supporting the opposition’s military, western democracies included. It is known that in US and EU states there have conducted massive anti-communist operations throughout history and even today people have been fined for siding with Palestine in Germany. When you pick a side publicly, effectively you join the war effort. All that to say, I’m not surprised.

  16. Realistically was it worth it….$30 for 9 years of life. The war goes on. It isn’t stopping any time soon. So unfortunately apart from confirming what we already knew, that Russia is an authoritarian state that locks up opponents, her sacrifice is utterly useless.

  17. Tragic. Keep in mind Trump looks at what Putin does and calls him a genius for it. No telling what ideas he got from Putin he plans on implementing once in office.
