1. Yeah, just which one.

   The EF2000 is way too modern for any european country to consider delivering (and hence, potentially losing) it, and the Tornado is needed for nuclear deterrence until the F35 arrives.

   Merz is talking out of his ass.

2. The west needs to do better, but it is hard to send military equipment to Ukraine because the west does not have that much of it, especially germany. Almost all countries are very reluctant on military spending, and their militaries either have obsolete equipment or lack of thereof. If west had more equipment, they would be more willing to spare it for Ukraine. This is why discussion needs to change from sending equipment to massively increasing spending, purchasing equipment at increased price, for expedited delivery, guarantee of continuing of purchasing equipment even if the war ends, permissions to increase factories and build new ones, invest in the military industrial companies, reducing regulations related to weapons manufacturing, lessening environmental protections for weapons manufacturing, some kind of cultural push for students to be more interested in engineering and in weapon manufacturing and enacting land lease programs so that every delivery is not fought in the governments.

   In some countries those already exist, some of those exist but have no support, but in some, there might not even be proposals for those laws. We need to push the Overton window to those discussions. Get engaged on the internet, talk about this with your family, and strangers, get involved in local elections and talk about this to your local representative. There will be people in your local political circle that can write proposals like that, and they could help you write to politicians and put those request into words. We can change this.

3. Has Germany fully disposed off all its MiG-29s (legacy from the East German Air Force)? Were all of these already sold to Poland or maybe some stored/mothballed?

4. Ukraine needs a large fleet of light planes (ideally two-seaters) to hunt down recon drones. These are likely as crucial as fighter planes.

5. Take everything this moron says with a grain of salt. He was the one that kept stirring up anti-Ukrainian (refugee) sentiment in Germany.
