1. This was enough stuff to take all of Europe when NATO was at its max size….

   Edit – max size was in relation to the size of its forces not number of countries.   As in NATO was vastly more powerful during the cold war.   The equipment Russia has burnt up vs Ukraine was meant to be rnough to take all of western Europe in a matter of a few weeks. 

   My comment was on how well Ukraine has fought

2. Perun has really done an amazing job of insightfully covering the war in Ukraine, along with other topics, from a defense procurement and defense-industry point of view.

   I know his video are very long but I highly recommend watching them all. I usually listen to them when driving, showering, or doing mindless work like washing the dishes.

4. So the new vehicles (T-90M, BMP3) produced are being destroyed so fast that Russia is pulling unupgraded Soviet stuff and even museum pieces out of the field. The decent stuff in reserve is mostly gone. The museum pieces such as T-55’s now make up about 20% of the losses apparently. Artillery may be looking even worse. Bases across Russia have been stripped of their SAM’s. In short, Russia is throwing everything it has at Ukraine.

   Tihs is quite literally insane.
