I'd thought this newspaper clipping was long lost until I discovered it in an old diary of my Dad's on the weekend. I think it was from around 1991. At the time Uncle Fred said "I hit some black ice and next thing I knew I was airborne."
Another fun fact about Fred: He was born in a village called Oswaldtwistle.
