  1. Looks like the Thames Water owner is in hot water over their solar energy plans.

  2. This seems to me to be a case of asset stripping by shareholders of Thames Water, and not in the interests of customers or the long term success of the company.

  3. Did we, the paying public, get any of the dividends? No.

Why should we care about the losses of those that made Millions in dividends?

  4. Great, less solar energy, more Hydrocarbon based energy to keep a failed and corrupt shit dispenserary staggering on until the inevitble nationalisation.

  5. I am actually quite excited to see how Starmer deals with the shit-show that is Thames Water and all the sewage issues. Bringing them all under public ownership and fining the fuck out of the companies/profiteers would be hilarious.

  6. So why isn’t labor planning to nationalise this service?

  7. It is estimated that 70% of Business in Britain is owned by non British entities.

On that basis it is not surprising that most profit leaves the country and no profits are used for maintenance.

The world is nationalising away from globalisation and the UK needs to serve the people of the UK, not American and foreign interests.
