The difference between the French and British | The Daily T Podcast

you know you often say in the UK that you start a conversation by talking about the weather in France we tend to talk about something we we disagree about okay so we tend to start the conversation with something a bit controversial or we start a conversation by moaning a little bit it’s a way to to create you know a form of social Bond um so there the fact that it’s cultural we are also we’ve got a long tradition of course of of revolutions and changes in France we’re very proud of it um and yet and that’s another part of the French paradox uh if you ever got to work with the French you’d find out they are actually very hierarchical and they’re like vertical structures okay so it’s complicated that’s the least you could say it’s a very complicated Nation

  1. The French are very equal. But the annoying thing is they don't know how to stop being rude. I don't see them as having 'vertical hierarchy'. I see them as being a tad immature. But Britain has become a lacklustre version of them. Everyone as good as each other, especially the arrogant fool.

  2. In Japan they have silo management structures (top down.)
In France they have silo administration structures (bottom up.)

  3. lmao seems more like NY's 'rude for no reason' attitude with the same delusions of grandeur that they have there. Looking for disagreement sounds like such a headache
