I looked through the top posts this week and couldn't find this video posted so I thought I could just link to it. I wonder about these high production quality, elite force videos: are they censored from the source? I understand if the original video is censored out of respect for the dead or something, but if the video is already out there, I would like to see reality for what it is. I can handle these videos uncensored and I don't like the concept of censoring things in the first place, because it's not like we don't already see him shoot a guy 5 times in the head in the video as it is already.
Where can I find these videos uncensored? Are they even available uncensored? I've seen a lot of these videos on YT from Azov and the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade and they are usually pretty grim and CQB focused but they are always censored. They are technically not even more brutal than half the drone footage on this sub, so except for the fact that they are on YT, I don't really get why they censor it.
I would also like if I don't get hate for wanting the footage. I don't get any happiness out of it, I'm simply too curios and hate watching stuff that has been filtered in order to not be offensive, because I want the REAL reality. War is brutal but we are all already watching this stuff, albeit with very different tolerances for violence which I totally respect.

This is the uncensored part of that video, posted in this sub earlier today. Most uncensored footage I believe comes from Telegram. There are multiple Ukrainian units that reference their uncensored posts there
A general rule of thumb for Ukraine footage is to look at the groups telegram for uncensored footage. Basically every unit has a telegram.

To answer your first questions, they are censored for youtube so that the videos don’t get taken down. Youtube doesnt allow certain violent content and people are quick to report combat footage from this war.
But thats also why the uncensored videos are fairly easy to find on telegram, etc.
I think 1 maybe 2 in the head does the job.
I am impressed by the professionalism these guys showed. Excellent teamwork and communication. It shows they have worked together for a while.
