I'm not Anti-Monarchy per se but I wish they were more like some European monarchies, where yeah, the prince or princess gets paid a substantial wedge of cash for being the public face of their respective countries but they've also got a Job, like a Dr. or some such.

Neil Kinnock’s daughter-in-law is a former prime minister of Denmark. As far as I’m aware she isn’t a member of the nobility, and even if she were that would hardly reflect on Kinnock.
