    I mean, most polls agree this election remains a toss-up and some even show Biden leading nationally. And, there is still a long way to go before this thing is over.

    But, regardless, defeatism is just a sure way to be defeated. You’ll never win anything, or very few of anything, with that attitude.

    Those of us on the left need more grit.

    And those who represent us need to fight for us each day and no matter the odds.

My god are the democrats unpopular, its insane how divided the country is and how half of the voting population favors a rapist and convicted felon, who betrayed his wife, who lives a like a king, incited an insurrection and so on. Its obscene, bizarre and disgusting. The US has serious issues.

  7. I don’t see any leadership coming from democrats, nor have I seen any for a long time, especially not from Biden. A real leader would be very honest about the threat republicanism poses, and they would use every available power to stop that threat, including demanding more of the people.

  9. 100 percent agreed. It’s also unique to listen to Democrats ignore the political historians who say Biden has the best chance to win in this election following indicators from past elections. It’s almost like they are the only hindering factor to its success by creating and following this narrative of defeat without party wide chaos.

  11. I know she is probably talking about that Maine congressmen, but this can easily be applied to the party as a whole, basically resigning to a second Trump term the way this election is headed.

  17. The average pension of a senator is almost double the salary of what the average us worker makes in a year (not quite, but close, its like 80k vs 50k).

  18. I don’t hear anyone saying they’re resigned to fascism. I hear people saying if we stick with Biden when there’s still time to replace him, he’s going to lose to a fascist. Two different things.

  24. Why should they resign? It doesn’t mean that they WANT Trump to win, they just think that Biden isn’t the one to defeat Trump this time around.

    They still think Trump needs to be defeated, they are just resigning to the fact that Joe Biden doesn’t want to step aside, and right now that looks a hell of a lot like a second Trump presidency.

    I don’t understand what y’all don’t understand. This is about lack of faith in Biden, not support for Trump. 🤷🏽‍♂️
