  1. Lee is valued at 70 by others but won’t go for the steal in value at 83 for Alvarez? Loving this club is bad for my heart.

  2. This has to be fake news. Nobody in their right mind would pay $70M for him, unless they plan to OD on the Asian market… which is viable.

And there is no way PSG rejects that… unless, they too, plan to OD on the Asian market. Which is viable.

  3. You don’t reject that ever. Lee is a weird fit and is definitely not worth 70m

  4. LMAO and just like that, **footmercato** is horseshit tier

  5. The value of a player isn’t just based on football terms anymore. The popularity and marketability of a guy is a huge deal now.

I’m guessing Korea and more widely Asia are huge and growing markets in terms of football and a bankable/good enough player to have on your squad will bring a lot of direct/passive income, now and long term.

So yeah 70m is a lot football wise but it might be very profitable in the future for the marketing and finances of the club.
