7. The value of a player isn’t just based on football terms anymore. The popularity and marketability of a guy is a huge deal now.

   I’m guessing Korea and more widely Asia are huge and growing markets in terms of football and a bankable/good enough player to have on your squad will bring a lot of direct/passive income, now and long term.

   So yeah 70m is a lot football wise but it might be very profitable in the future for the marketing and finances of the club.
