Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, whose war-stricken country has been the recipient of U.S. aid since it was invaded by Russia in February 2022, addressed the National Governors Association following an address at the NATO Summit the day before.

Zelenskyy spoke to the United State’s governors at the NGA’s 2024 Summer Meeting, held in Salt Lake City at the Grand America Hotel, where he was introduced by the group’s outgoing chair, Utah Gov. Spencer Cox.
