Tuesday for 2 dollars today is dedicated to the stabilization point in the Donetsk region. They need 60 bone fixation devices to save the arms and legs of our wounded soldiers🇺🇦 Details in the first comment 👇
And so, what are we raising money for today?
These are 60 external fixation devices for bones for a stabilization center in the Donetsk region, whose doctors fear for the lives of our soldiers and are preparing them to be sent to the hospital after they get to them.
About 60 of these devices are needed per month, and there are always not enough of them. The role of the devices is very important, since with their help it is possible to save the limbs of wounded soldiers.
The cost of one is from 850 hryvnia, up to 2800 hryvnia, depending on which seller you buy them from and the availability of these devices.
to buy 60 pieces we need approximately $1260.
Here’s a little description from the site:
“and for immobilization of cyst fractures. Compound fractures associated with open wounds, recovery, enjoy the additional procedure of osteosynthesis. the outer retainer is made up of heavy-duty screws and a rigid frame.
The doctor attaches it to the outer side of the body and uses a screw to secure it to the affected bone. Brush fragments created by blasting can be stabilized in this way. Moreover, stench cannot be replaced one against another.
Manufactured from stainless steel AISI 304.
The device is folded with:
Tubes (rods/beams) of two types – 450mm / 350mm
Knitting needles (stants) 180 mm – 4 pcs.
Strizhnetrimach (lock / clamp) – 4 pcs. ”
